Xbox at E3 2021: Halo Infinite, Starfield, Forza Horizon 5 and more
The Xbox had one of its best conferences in the entire history of E3, the biggest and most important gaming event on the planet. At their conference held on June 13th, there were many new games introduced, such as Forza Horizon 5, and titles that had already been introduced had new details, such as Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 .
Here are the top Xbox ads for Xbox Series X/S and also Xbox One. Check it out:
1. Infinite Halo
Halo Infinite had an unprecedented video presented at the Microsoft conference at E3 2021 that showed a little more of the story and more details of Master Chief, the hero of the saga. It is expected to be launched in late 2021 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
The game will feature a paid campaign and a free multiplayer mode for all players, which will be released together. It’s the first time that Halo’s online mode will be free to all players and will be separate from the “main” game. And for those with a compatible TV, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer combat will run at 120 FPS.
2. Forza Horizon 5
Forza Horizon 5 was announced at E3 2021 and is the newest game in the popular Xbox open world racing game series. The launch for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC will be on November 9.
In this edition, the Horizon festival, in which the player participates in the game, takes place in Mexico. There are desert scenes, beaches, cities and much more. The look is amazing, especially from the cars.
The Playground Games studio has confirmed that the default setting for Forza Horizon 5 will be, in the case of Xbox Series X, 4K and 30fps. On the Xbox Series S, the default setting will be 1080p and 30fps. However, both versions will feature a lower resolution 60 FPS option.
3. Battlefield 2042
We’ve already talked about him here on Sherwa’s blog. Battlefield 2042 won a video at E3 that showcased a little more than we can expect from gameplay. Electronic Arts’ game will have vast scenarios and many combat vehicles, but the novelty is the climatic cataclysmic events that can happen during the matches.
The video shows a real-time tornado forming in the city and sandstorms to provide an ever-evolving battleground. The action will be intense. But remember that there is no Campaign mode. The game will focus on online multiplayer.
The game hits PC and consoles as early as October 22nd.
The new Bethesda RPG, from the creators of Skyrim, doesn’t arrive until 2022 for the Xbox and PC family, but we got a taste of what’s to come at E3. The release is scheduled for November 11, 2022.
The game got a new trailer with more details, however what we saw for the first time is the visual style, full of details and reflections. We’ll be able to get on a spaceship, explore all of space, meet new civilizations and do fun things. “It’s like Skyrim in space,” said Todd Howard, director of Bethesda. So we’re going to have a lot to do and a huge, free world to explore.
5. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl surprised by showing a game with a visual far superior to other first person shooter games. The title first hits Xbox and PC consoles on April 22, 2022. According to the developers, the game is a next-gen experience with 4K resolution graphics and ray tracing. Watch the video above and draw your own conclusions.
