Halo Infinite: Free multiplayer mode is now available

A big surprise! Microsoft released this Monday (15) the multiplayer mode of Halo Infinite free for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. It was a gift to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first Xbox on November 15, 2001.

Apart from being free to play, another good news is that any progress you make in matches will be carried over to the final game.

Rumors indicated that the release of multiplayer before the full game would happen at first and has now been officially confirmed.

The success is so great that Halo Infinite became the first game from Microsoft and Xbox Game Studios to surpass 200,000 simultaneous players on Steam. This only for the PC version. The company has yet to reveal the game’s version numbers for the Xbox platform.

Multiplayer is open to the world and Season 1, called Heroes of Reach, which runs until May 2022, has already started. Microsoft and 343 Industries had already run some tests with selected players.

Players will have access to all Season 1 maps, Battle Pass and Main Modes.

The campaign mode of Halo Infinite arrives on December 8th. Remembering that all your progress made during multiplayer will be kept. Forge modes and co-op campaign will be launched later.
