Call of Duty Warzone is a free battle royale with 150 players on a massive map

Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived suddenly. The free game is now available and it’s a battle royale for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Up to 150 players can face each other in a massive map with the aim of being the last man or team to survive, but there’s an unprecedented game mode called Plunder, in which the objective is to get more money than the opposing team.

Call of Duty Warzone is all about the bucks!

The game’s money allows you to buy better weapons, killstreaks and revive companions who died in combat. Another way to return to the match is quite interesting: when dying, the player is taken to a 1v1 combat against an opponent. Whoever wins returns to the game and prevents the loser from returning any longer.

In traditional battle royale mode, there is a cloud of deadly gas that decreases over time, reducing the space for action on the map.

The map of Call of Duty: Warzone is massive and was made to be realistic. Called Verdansk, it has more than 300 points of interest with locations made for intense combat. According to the creators, houses and buildings were placed in places where they would exist in the real world and not just thrown to make volume. You can still use vehicles to move around the huge site. You have ATVs, Tactical Rover, SUV and even helicopters.

Free and Cross Play

It’s worth mentioning that Call of Duty: Warzone is free and, although it is from the same creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the game does not require to have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to be played. It is still crossplatform, meaning you can play with friends on any platform.

Speaking of minimum requirements to play on the PC, you will need an Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300 processor, 8 GB of RAM and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7950 graphics card.

But can Warzone beat the already established Fortnite in the battle royalle? Is there room for more games in this genre? Will we have to put 100 battle royale games on a island to see wich one reings supreme? Tell us what you think in the comments.
