Call of Duty: Vanguard takes us back to World War II on November 5th
Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on November 5th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC (via Battle.net). Activision today revealed the release date and more details of the game that takes us once again to the WWII scenario.
The game promises to show the emergence of Special Forces in what was the biggest conflict in history. Events will be shown from the perspective of a group of soldiers of different nationalities known as Task Force One.
Rumor has it that it will be about 270 GB in size.
The game is in development by Sledgehammer Games studio. Vanguard features a traditional Campaign mode campaign with four viewpoints on different fronts. The characters are fictional but inspired by WWII fighters.
Initially, Call of Duty: Vanguard comes with 20 multiplayer maps, six of which will be for 6v6 matches. Another advertised mode is “Champion Hill”. It features tournament-style matches where players can play in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 games. The last surviving squad wins.
Treyarch Studios once again brings its Zombies mode (which had no images developed). The promise is an integration between Vanguard and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, 2020.
Call of Duty: Warzone, the series’ acclaimed battle royale, will have news with the arrival of the Vanguard. An unprecedented map that is already in development will be released. Activision even promised a new anti-cheating system. There will be a new calendar of free content like new maps, mode playlists, limited time and seasonal events and much more.
